    @all Crystal Chip enthusiasts/users,

    Try this:
    http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://crystal-chips.com/

Maybe using the Internet Archive Wayback Machine above, you can access non existent info here. If so, you could download the interesting sutff and put here for those interested on this modchip.

lol, I guess you missed the fact this thread I started has the entire site ready for download and I even included notes stating I already used the internet archive to get any info I was missing. Not laughing at you, I just thought it was funny you're the second person in this thread to mention the internet archive. I guess my notes above in my original post must be too complex to understand? or too detailed for our ADD generation?

    Hi,
In fact I was just researching other thing for other modchip related to other subject, and when I found some stuff about this modchip and I remembered of Internet Archive I decided to share this info here.
Unhappily I didn't read all your post (sometimes I have to choose to contribute or read things... Maybe it is a error, but it was my choice).
So, just sorry for that, I had only good wills to help people interested on know more about this modchip.
But since you stated that you provided all needed info, great! No problem about that... So just forget my previous post.
    BR,

EDIT: Do better: Please delete my posts here okay!Since they are only redundand info ;-)

I guess noone noticed either that I made a post that almost all the original info, and files are online hosted here also via:

    http://ccwiki.psx-scene.com

With all this sudden renewed search for info on the amazing CC design, maybe it should be bought back to life from the dead.

@doctorxyz: No worries, I understand you're just trying to help.

@garyopa: Yes I noticed your post if you were asking me. If you were wondering why I bothered to include the CC wiki as an offline download, it's because it linked in with the original CC website. So if the online version ever goes down, it would still be available offline. Yea that would be a good idea to update the online cc wiki if anyone wants to contribute to it, so it's not just a static website anymore.

I just checked the wiki and saw that there is some massive spamming going on there. There are 1239 lonely pages and all are spam.

I'd say delete all those pages, ban those spammers and disable the registration, so that only authorized users can edit the wiki. Although I doubt that much will happen there.

I guess most of them are pretty new, but you can only see 500 changes from the last 30 days on the recent changes special page.

When you go to the special pages --> orphaned pages you can see the 1239 pages I mentioned in my previous post. Oh and I found one orphaned page which is no spam: "Hauptseite", which is the German version of the main page. So there are only 1238 spam pages.

Last thing I did on the wiki was fixing some broken links almost a year ago.

It's really sad that the development stopped so suddenly and way too soon thanks to $ony's "modchip witch-hunt".
Another victim of this "holocaust" was Spedmetal from Norcalmods who is a really nice guy and has quite some skills, as you can see here: http://ccwiki.psx-scene.com/index.ph...our_slim_PSTwo

Too bad that the BootManager source code was never released. The CC had the most potential of all modchips, but now we'll never know for sure what would have been possible.

There is still a few broken links in the old CC wiki, because they point to our old domain "psx-scene.com" which has been long dropped, they need to be replaced with just the main "psx-scene.com" domain.

The CC wiki is built on a really old outdated wiki, I might just redo all the useful pages into a static site, since having a "editable" Wiki is silly now that the CC is "history chip" instead of an always updating new thing to play with.

Yep, Sony "witch-hunt", I been thru it myself, spent 2 years of my life fighting the "ESA" and much like "S" and "N" after getting raided by "major crime" and seeing everything in my life being destoryed in a few minutes.

It is a shame the CC development was stopped, with it's boot manager, their was alot of possible things, but lucky we have a few talented people here on "psx-scene" and now we got new shiny toys like the FMCB and OPL to use.

Thankyou so much for this. I have a crystal chip in my PS2, and going back to it to try and get OpenPS2Loader to work......i've forgotten everything, or how it works. I guess this is a start on figuring this thing out again.

EDIT:: I guess it wasn't that helpful. Stuff is broken.

Trying to figure out how to install an application....or just get the bootmanager to find mine on my Memcard/USB stick. Uhg.
