hi to all.. i'm in my first message here..

    I did mount a cc1.1 (as seller told me it was cc1.1 LITE) on a SCPH-50004 v.9 (gh-023).

    on chip Actel: 0539
    tha flash is an ATMEL42-SI27

Installation ok, solder point controlled, ground contacts ok.

The diagnostic on R19 says me:
    BIOS ROM: 1.46EC
    Consolle Region: E/E
    Crystal Chip: v2.0
    Bootmanager: v1.8

My consolle did not play ANY DVD/CD (it returns to browser after trying to load the cd) except for the firmware cd.. I read it is because the firmware isn't loaded on chip, true? or i did a mistake?
I'm trying to install REV 19 (cracked and not cracked) and a BM. BM loads correctly into MemCard but firmware no!!

With R19 (cracked or not) the "Please wait" and disc spinning continues until I switch off the ps2.. I left for about 15min before reset ( 2 or 3 times).
with R18 i can't see "please wait" and give me "done" after 1 sec. but trying to load any game nothing appens (return to browser)..

    how can it be?
please help me on flash firmware!!

i think you have the EEPROM version of the CC.
that will take around 30secs to 1 min.

    just leave it in there.

if you have a USB data transfer cable then you can, boot a special disc CDR in the ps2 that will allow you to use your PC USB to drag and drop the file into the PS2 memory and it will execute it from there.

try using burnatonce.com their burning program for burning the image. do not use nero. try that program and burn at 4x or 24x ok.

try that for the firmware disc image and try again ok.
