Crystal Chip 2sce trouble

Not long ago I install Crystal Chip 2 sle, over a week ps2 games worked good, but when I put cd ps one, consol stop reading pirats cd and dvd, reading only license dvd and cd.

P.S. Model ps2 - 12, pleace help.
P.P.S. Contacts soldered very well.

Try to reflash the firmware, if that doesn't help, check the CDVD wires.

I can not refresh firmware, that my ps2 not see no licence disc or be another way?

If you can't boot the upgrade disc, which should always boot, even when no FW is on the chip, then most probably a wire came off or something like that. Check your installation, esp. CDVD wires.

P.S.: You shouldn't refer to copied games as pirated, that's bad. We use to call them backups, cause backups are legal.

Hi!

I made upgrade CD, upgrading system, consol started play backup disks for ps2, but when I go test ps1 game, program get error SX, I reinstall this contact and consol stop read backup disks, only original. I can't start upgrade CD.

P.S Can I use upgrade CD without chip?

And my friends has 15a model ps2, after install Cristal 2SLE chip it can't start all disks..

You must have messed something while reinstalling the SX wire, cause it worked fine before.
Check for bridges and solder splashes on the board.
Or try to unsolder SX again to see if that changes anything.

Some more details about the v15 would be nice. I hope you know that not all PS1 and PS2 games are compatible with the v15, $ony really f***ed it up with the v15.

Which software release is installed, which games do work and which don't, original or backup, which DVD-R media was used?
