Crystal Chip 1.1 lite problems
Just bought recently v14 ps2 with Crystal Chip 1.1 lite installed.
When I received it I tried about 20 back ups they all played fine. It did not have any bm installed or anything. I got bored and decided to open it up to check installation. I found it to be very amateur, despite the fact the guy bought it pre-moded in some kind of shop. I assembled it back, powered up and console stopped playing most of the games I checked before. I opened it up again. Checked the installation and fount the "F" point never been soldered. And one of the CDVD points got disconnected. Also made ground points shorter. Checked the chip and all of the connection points. The led lighted up once. Assembled it back. Burned latest v34 hacked firmware installed firmware and bm manager. Finally nothing helped. The ps2 can read the upgrade cd disk. Some other dvd backups, but more other insert ps2 game disk comes up.
I turned ps2 off completely yesterday after all of the tries. Got it in the box unplugged.
Today I checked it again. Turned it on, and nothing came on. No boot manager I installed yesterday. Could not play any dvds again, only cc upgrade cd.
The strange thing it worked ok before I opened it, even with no "F" point soldered.
Any ideas guys?
