Chip will not load games
Chip will not load games –

I have a V9 PS2 that I installed a CC1.1 in. I used the diagram located here: http://www.crystal-chips.com/documen...11/cc11_v9.jpg and I soldered all the white labeled points. I quadruple-checked all of my soldering, and I am sure that it is all good. When I turn on the PS2, it shows the "Sony Computer Entertainment" screen, then goes to the browser. (I have an original PS2 game in) It says "Playstation(R)2 CD" in the upper right hand corner. When I press X, the screen fades out to black, stays black for several seconds, then the browser screen appears again.
I have tried some troubleshooting, but none of it has worked. My chip does not have an LED on it when I turn it on. When I disable the chip by pressing Reset x6, the games play fine, so I know the CD drive is attached correctly. Any idea what I could be doing wrong??
Thanks!

You have to install the Firmware (and peferably BootManager too) first before you can play any games.
