Chip is soldered and nothing

It is a CD! No DVD! And please don't try to burn CDs with DVD Decrypter. That's no good.
Burn it with Nero in mode2 and everything's fine.

Nah, chances are it's a bad solder job. Did you check for shorts or bridging? It's hard to burn a CD wrong. Nero or whatever image burner is pretty straight forward. But, there is a slight chance that you did burn the CD wrong. Why don't you load up the burnt CD into your computer and look at file structure. It should say 'cc-upgrade.bin' or what ever the hacked version filename was. And no , it has nothing to do with memory card not being inserted.

I agree with indoweed definatly check your solder joints happened to me I had a bridged solder on the bios chip.....fixed real quick with a desoldering whick and some flux!
