CC2.0 and PS1 backups?

Does CC 2.0 Pro or SLE play PS1 backups? I cant figure this one out. I tried to play Street Fighter Alpha 3 and it don't want to boot up? I know the laser is good too because i play CD based ps2 games. I also soldered on the "sx" wire.

This CC 2.0 SLE should play PSX-backups.
Does the game start ??? Or can you see in the BM that theres a disc ???

What kind of PS2 do you have ??? Fat or Slim ???

Because the slim PS2 (it is SCPH 7500x ) have problems with some PSX (and PS2) games.

I've read something like this some time ago...

Perhaps Streetfighter Alpha 3 is one of those games =(

I had sort of the same problem with mine. Fat w/ 2.0 SLE. I could not get it to play PS1 backups at all, and it would always hang at a black screen when I tried.

I reflashed my firmware (r34 hacked v2) and they magically started working. Dunno if that's your problem, but you could give it a try. Mine was pre-flashed by the guy who did the modding, maybe it didn't flash completely.

Nah it's wasn't that. Somehow StreetFighter alpha 3 just don't work or it's scratched. I don't know. I got another backup game and tried it and it worked. I really love my Crystal Chip.

Btw, I have the same f/w as G man.
