I just have a couple questions since I have a CC1.0 I hear a lot about Boot manager, is that something I get when i flash the firmware or is that something I need one of the newer chips for. Also with 1.0 will I still get the features wiht the Hacked firmware like DNAS bypass and those things? My main question is since I have a 1.0 what type features am I losing out on besides the extra space.

For CC 1.0 bootmanager is installed on the memory card instead of on the CC flash mem. Bootmanager is practically the 'heart" of the chip. It contains all the configurations. Yes when you flash the firmware you can also install the Bootmanager.

As for the differences i don't know many but here's one from the CC website

    Code:
"HA" wire (not available on CC1.0 or any other chips in the market)
reduces the occurence of "mechacon crashes" which are the most
common cause of laser burnout in v12 consoles as well as reducing
    the occurence of RSOD.
I think the features are the same as the other Crystal Chips but i'm not 100% sure.

Every CC model uses BootManager for configuration and advanced features like DL-Patch, Region-Free and DNAS-Bypass.

The CC1.0 only lacks the above mentioned HA wire and the ability to change discs while in the game. Not much of a problem, cause multi disc games always give you the option to save before changing the disc, so you can boot with the second disc and load that save.
