Could we get the uncompiled source or a diff from the CC release 34 pretty pretty pretty please
Why don't you just extract the files from the bin image? There are many apps for that floating around. (Isobuster, WinRAR, WinISO)
Or mount the image in a virtual drive to copy the files over. (Nero, Daemon Tools)

Upgraded from 19 to 34 last night on CC 1.0 and SCPH-75003 PAL
It worked fine yesterday... CC Logo on boot and then goes into Boot Manager but today (first time after power cycle) I just get black screen with a bit of flicker in the corner.
Nothing will boot... not even originals.
Are you sure you've upgraded both BM and firmware successfully ?
If you firmware CD boot, try the installation again... If it doesn't boot, try in recovery mode (3 times reset).
Interesting... I took the PS2 apart and inspected... OK
I tried to boot it... no luck.
I unsoldered the 3v3 wire to the CC 1.0 and it boots into Sony Browser
Looks like my CC 1.0 is now knackered after putting Hacked 34 on it.
I would obviously like to try to restore... pressing Reset doesn't seem to enter any special mode. The instructions say press 6 times to disable the chip by pressing six times does it mean... press the button on the RHS to change red to green and then press the LHS six times. Does it matter how fast you press it?
Hm... That would be nice. I'll try comibinations but it doesn't seem to have any effect.

No, there is no hardware reset. To enter into recovery mode, you have to press reset 3 times from a switched on console with one second between each. This way, the chip load the built-in default firmware and should be able to boot your upgrade CD.
I checked the wiring... no issues.

On mine I get a blank screen (black) on startup although it seems that there is a 1Hz flicker to the screen. When a disc is inserted it spins up but doesn't appear to start reading...
I tried starting up, pressing the button 6 times, ... same effect. In a functioning machine would I expect the Sony Browser to start at that point?
I really believe this is 34 Hacked Specific. This machine worked fine 12hrs ago using version 19. It has been working without any issue on v19 for over 12months. Seems too much of a coincidence.
Has anyone else successfully installed 34 Hacked in a CC 1.0?
Yes, I have a CC 1.0 and I updated from 29 to 34 without any problem, as soon as I starded in recevry mode. Otherwise, I had the same black screen as you describe.
When you get the recovery mode (tried again today, start the console, wait a few seconds for it to start, then three short button push with 1 sec. and a half between each), the console starts on the Sony Browser and boot on the firmware CD.
I'm sorry, but I can't help you more than that... I can't see any reason why you couldn't start in recovey mode
I have a theory... my theory is that reset isn't working for my install and never has done. i.e. I have tried before to press the button 6 times and I never got back to the browser. The only time it used to go to the browser was when the memory card that contains BM was absent.
Which wires are responsible for reset detection? I should triple check (by resoldering these).
Haven't given up yet.
