Yes but you have to agree that a simple confirmation of sme kind would be nice. However its really not needed. Maybe its not possible with the way BM runs from scripts.

Why don't you just boot in enhanced mode? Maybe your laser is kicking the bucket

If you watch is video you will see that he did boot it in enhanced as well as minimal.

I didn't know he posted a video, I had a few problems with Kingdom Hearts 2 back when it just came out in Japan, what I did was reextracted it from the RAR archives it was in and re-burned it at a slower speed, other than that it could just be your laser. It is not the PAL version because it just can out today in Europe and it is not on the internet yet. Unless you are truly using a "backup" of your orignal disc and if that is the case, try booting that and if it doesn't work, disable the modchip and boot it. I think it is a laser problem though. What system version do you have? How old is the laser?

EDIT: Watched the video, its gotta be your laser nothing else would do that.

I did not realize KH2 was not out in PAL until now

If you watch the video you will also see that he has a SCPH-75001 which is a V14. I would find it hard that it was his laser ....but who knows, maybe its burnt out already. I do agree that the way its acting could appear to be a laser issue.

Yes DaDemon do what Breath of Fire stated and test the original if you can.

I actually have burned the game a bout like ... 4 times lol and its like sorta kinda works but doesnt. See like some games boot up and other dont its a imation DVD-R 16x. I burn in 2x so yeah...And my originals boot up easy and quick so its not that but who knows . I just got the ps2 about .... 1 month ago? From bayareamods ....who knows

hope it can be fixed later on

Get some Verbatims and try with those. Imation can be really bad media.

Yeah Imation is one of the worst DVD medias you can get, personally I found LG's to be the best for my v7 but Verbatims have been fully proven to be the best. Burn at 4x. It could be your laser because slims lasers can go out quick and even faster with crappy media. Heh the only reasion I know it came out today is because I saw it on a Kingdom Hearts fan site.

alright i might give it a look. im 14 so im not totally rollin in the cash but i will give it a look...If worse comes to worse anyone know any good websites that contain a laser and installation for cheap? Thanks

Ive got a question. Seeing as you guys earlier in this thread talked about NTSC and PAL, will backup NTSC games work with my console (PAL, SCPH-50004)?
