    sup all,

i got a funny issue going on here. i have a v7 ps2 that has a crystal_chip pro installed with hacked firmware v29. i had a hard drive installed with about 20 games on it. They all worked fine.
i took the hard drive out of the v7 and put it back into a v9 that has a crystal_chip pro sle installed with hacked firmware v34(2). Now none of the games work. they show up in the list on hddadvance and i can scroll though them but none will play. i know the chips work. they play org. and backups fine. anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on? thanks for any ideas.

    cez

oh forgot, yes i am using the same version of hhdadvance.

ok, just for giggles i took the hdd back out of the v9 and put it back into the v7 and the games work again.
so i switched it back into the v9 and tried again. i just get a black screen.

also im using the same network adapter on both systems.

hehhe, forgot about the extra protection in the v9 and later.
sorted it by leaving a disk in the tray, they all work fine then.
