CC not starting up right

I have a problem with my CC 2.0. I was playing a game of Amplitude for a little and as soon as I pressed the reset button, the original boot up started. I ask myself "What the hell??"

I reset it again and it does the same thing. When I put in a backup, it shows up in the browser menu. I start it and it resets itself back to the browser menu.

I tried to run the bootmanager disc and when I try to install BM, it only gives me the option to install to the memory cards.

System Info shows the chip as 2.0 so I know it's being detected.

Anyone know what's wrong?

EDIT: If it makes any difference, while playing Amplitude, before I went online, I set up a network connection from it. I doubt that's the problem though.
EDIT 2: I have the PS2 opened and the light on the chip flashes for a second like it should.

My guess is to install to memory card, then it may have the option to format the flash, then try to reinstall BM to flash.

Tried it and doesn't work unfortunately

Right now i'm just thinking of what could've went wrong? All I did was play a game and reset it afterwards

I'm just going to reinstall it and see what happens. It looks really good compared to others but the only problem could be that.

Have you tried to boot into recovery mode with it and install BM to the cflash again?

I tried recovery mode numerous times, it boots up the bootmanager disc but won't give me the option to install to flash like it did the first time I ran it. Tried installing it on the memory card, same thing, won't boot into BM.

Another thing is I tried to install it into my V14 and it does the same thing as above. Something tells me that the chip is corrupted somehow or something is blown which I can't see on the chip.

I'll just wait until mod-chip.com replies to my email about exchanging for another one.

(Knowing myself, i'll end up reinstalling it again & again to see if I can fix it myself)

EDIT: Come to think about it, there's other ground & 3.3v pads on the chip. Would it make any difference if I tried those alternatives? I'm guessing the pads I'm using now are bad.

They're not bad, cause if they were bad, your system would act like there's no chip at all. Trying won't hurt.

Just tried to install it again using the alt GND & 3.3 points and still doesn't work right.

I'm just going to wait until mod-chip replies to my e-mail for an exchange

Did you try to format the flash? (format dffs in MemCard Manager)
Maybe that can help to recover the lost flash.
