CC & 480p
I couldn't seem to find a configuration option in BM, but is it possible to run it at 480p?
I'd like to get all my devices to run through one input on my plasma so I don't have to switch the receiver and the plasma to use the ps2, but the plasma's HDMI doesn't support 480i :banghead: .

You can configure BM in 480p, but it's only the BM video mode. As soon as you launch a game, it will go back to the standard configuration.
In the PS 2 PAL or NTSC options, you can change video mode of games to PAL or NTSC, but no 480p yet :(

How do you set BM to 480p?
-
Configuration->Interface Configuration->Video Mode. this is from memory though, so perhaps I don't remember the names of the options correctly but you'll find it.
480p for games is planned though no word on when it'll happen...

I'll check again but it seems to me the only options were NTSC, PAL, and VGA

The option is definately tere, I just checked CONFMENU.PBT to be sure.
The Video Mode option has always behaved a bit strangely, seeming to skip over modes from time to time. I think this is due to the changing of the video mode but haven't been able to track down the cause as of yet and it's quite low priority. I'm planning on redoing how BM handles the video configuration stuff soon anyway.

I went through the options a couple times and it did eventually show up. How could one reset this if it got set to 480p and their tv didn't support this (or maybe moved the ps2 to a new set and forgot to change it back)? Is this just a matter of reinstalling BM from recovery mode or will it still remember the setting?

each time you reinstall BM, the configuration is completely removed.
I've been planning to add a default macro for forcing the video mode to the "system default"(PAL/NTSC) for that type of situation but as of yet you can only boot the upgrade disc and reinstall.

Would it be possible to set the video mode before the CC logo is displayed? Using 480p on my HDMI input I don't see anything until the menu comes up, as the logo must still be 480i. Not an issue at all, it'd just be nice :)
