CC 2.0 Pro issue –
I installed a CC 2.0 Pro in my Ps2 and flashed the hacked BM 34 Revision 2 as a clean install, but it wouldn't read any backup game discs after the initial BM install. It still boots up normal games just fine, but when it comes to backups and the Firmware install CD, it won't boot and takes me to the "Please insert a playstation format disc" screen. I had tried to re-install the BM in recovery mode (Hit reset 3 times?) but it still gave the the "RSoD." I also had formatted the DFFS in hopes of making a clean install, but the Ps2 still won't boot the firmware/bm install cd. I hope I didn't brick the chip, but I don't know what to do, xD. My CD/DVD and BIOS points are fine, otherwise the install cd wouldn't have booted on the first try. I think a wire on the reset/eject cable broke, but I don't think that would affect the loading of CD's...I'm planning to replace the cable tomorrow though. Any help would be great, and any reasons as to why the backups wouldn't boot and why the firmware/bm cd won't run.
