CC 2.0 Pal games ?

Hey just wondering if I get this chip and have an ntsc ps2, can I play PAL games ? Oh and wehre can I get my ps2 modded in Edmonton ?

I think you can. I asked Jones and he replied with a yes. You can play PAL games with Crystal Chip 2.0 PRO.

It's better if someone else, who has more experience with this chip, answers.

Yes, definitely works, you just need the hacked software. Original release doesn't support backups and imports.

That's the hacked firmware. With that, you can play backed up games and PAL/NTSC games.

Oh yes, the CC2.0 works great with PAL games on an NTSC console!

hmm cool I'll check that out when I actually have mine modded.. who knows when that is the guy hasn't been home for a while, do you guys know any modders in edmonton besides foundmy, viper and marcus ( the 1 on this forum ? ) If the guy that I'm going with doesn't respond soon i might be forced to go to an other guy who installs DMS chips and I hear those are not as good as the CC, is that true ?
