I have tried a PAL Karaoke game and the video display seems to be too tall, so the top and bottom part of the display is cut off. So, we can't see the score on the top and the words of the songs which display on the bottom can barely be seen (only the top 1/4 of the words can be seen scrolling across the screen).

Is there a way to "shrink" the vertical size so that the entire video image will be displayed on the TV? I tried changing the video position in BM but it only moves to the right and down, and doesn't seem to affect the game display, only BM.

This is using the latest version of BM & firmware (release 34). Thanks for any help!

I guess you're using a NTSC-TV. If that's the case, your TV simply doesn't have enough lines to display a full PAL-screen. (See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PAL )
Sadly there's not much you can do about that, unless you buy a PAL-TV.

To adjust the image position you have to use the PS2 Software Configuration, to find it just scroll down in the config menu, it's not visible when entering the config menu.

Thank you very much, Jones23! Your suggestion did the trick regarding the PS2 configuration. I wasn't aware that the config menu had more than what was initially displayed. I changed the setting for the PS2 x,y position and that moved it up enough so we can now see the words. Thanks again!
