I live in Japan and just purchased a v15 77000 cb ps2 with the gh-052-51 motherboard and installed the chip, but have been unable to get the flash cd I made to boot (pressed reset 3 times and cd just kept spinning in tray with black screen). I have tried 6 different cds burning at 2x, 4x, and 8x using quality media. I had my father in law who is a sony electrial engineer do the installation, and he said it should boot up, but no luck. Is it possible that this ps2 version is not supported by cc2.0? If not perhaps its an installation error? In any event is there anyone that I would be able to send my ps2 to to have it installed by someone familiar with all of the installation procedures for a japanese ps2 v15? Thanks in advance!
