CC 2.0 crashing while flashing chip.... –

Hello scene, I've just got my first ps2 slime line, version 15b and installed a crystal chip version 2.0 into it, the install is good, led litghts up for one second. I can load the update disk, I can install bootmanger on to the memory stick, although it will not run, but when I go to update firmware the screen says, Please wait... and hangs, it should take aprox 20 seconds, I've waited in hour and nothing. i've tried reseting the chip by pressing the reset button three times with a one second interval, again nothing. I also can not load final fantasy xII the only orginal game I have, I do not get the ps2 red screen, just a mesage in the browser saying this cannot be read.
I've tried to innstall v19 of the firmware, It was all i could had at the time (no internet @ home), I will try with a newer version tonight, but any help would be great, I'm buring (following the directions in the firmware) with imageburn onto a good cd-r with 2.4 as a burn speed.

With cc 2.0 you must have fw24 or higher and with fw 34 you can run without Bm if you like.

thanks for the response, I downloaded ccupgrade. cue and ccupgrade.bin, burned to a cd-r and and it still crashes when I try to upgrade the firmware, version 30, I'm very confused as to why this is not working.

First off with the CC2.0 you must install BM to the chips cflash. Installing it to the MC wont work, or you are calling it a "memory stick" which I think you mean USB drive?
You need to boot into recovery mode with the hacked R34 FW/BM disc in your console. from standby tap reset 3 times with "about" a one second delay between taps. This may take a few tries to get right.

Thank you for the timely responses, I'm new to the scene and appreciate it.
Just to clarify, I meant memory card, not memory stick sorry for the confusion.
I downloaded from the crystal chip website the firmware V34 pack, extracted it, ran the "make it" program and using Image Burn with a burn speed of 2.4 burned the upgrade.bin which also put on the disk upgrade.cue. I used a Quality CD-R, Iomation I think.
When I hit the reset button 3 time with a one second interval, tried at least 5 times same result, black screen and the disk spins really fast in the drive.
I dont know how or why I have a firmware version pack 19, but when burned using the same procedure it, using the reset button chip reset. The disk spins at a normal speed and the menus appear, I cannot install the firmware on the chip but I can install boot manger on to the memory card, there is no option to install it onto the chip.
Please advise, thanks

Are you sure you have a CC2.0? I don't think the CC2.0 will work with anything less then R25. Also download the hacked R34 that is stickied at the top of the cc forum section, its already in bin/cue format.
