    Hi,

Lately I have received couple of GH-051-51 mainboards and the problem is that I cant boot at all those boards with CC1.2 or CC2.0. All you have to do is to solder GND and 3.3V and PS2 doesnt wants to boot at all. I have red light on reset button and that's all.
I have tried to solder several CC1.2 and CC2.0 modchips on different boards.
The modchips are OK, I have tested them on earlier versions of motherboards and they are working fine.
The wiring is also OK, couse I have reused the same wires for other cheap modchip and the modification is working fine.

It seems like that resistance between GND and 3.3V on that motherboard is too low and when I solder on CC modchip, the motherboard thinks that there is a shortcircuit between GND and 3.3V and doesnt wants to boot.

    Any oppinion or simmilar problems?

    Thanks for advice.
But the problem is with power supply. Motherboard doesn't boots with any low power device attached to its power supply.
Right now I have no more motherboards with that simptoms on stock but it seems that the problem could be solved with externally increased power consumption of CC (resistor + cond. block).
    Does anyone has similar problem?
