CC 1.0 on V7 problem

I've installed infinity and Duo couple of time and I decided to use the crystal chip. I finish installing the cc 1.0 and I encounter a problem. I decided to test the PS2 first to make sure that it booted and shows the browser screen. I then put an original silver bottom game to test and all I get is the browser section that shows PS2 game on the top right hand side of the screen. Same thing on a blue bottom game. Is this normal until I flash the bios? please help thanks!

i have noticed on some consoles it will take a long time to boot, and on sum others it may not boot at all without the bios update!

flash your chip

I couldn't flash the chip because it would always go to the browser when I inserted the hacked 19 cd.

THANKS TheAgent! I realize I didn't properly burn the *.bin file .. It works great now!
