they just posted this in the news section
Happy Halloween to everyone in the PS2 scene! As a treat for you costumed-cuties we've uploaded CC1.0 and CC1.1 installation diagrams for the newest PS2 revision v14. Many thanks to Foundmy.com for their help in this. Development of our next software release is still under way while we pack more features in but expect a release "Sometime Soon?".
so yes, it can take a firmware update, but it does require a new type of firmware software update ""Sometime Soon?".
so yes, it will be able to work.
Confirmed, firmware flash fails on Ver14 with Crystal 1.0.
Awaiting new firmware.
Cheers,
GTZ
Dang, I wish they would hurry with BM 1.7. I'd really like to play my PAL games. Does anyone know where I can download BM 1.4 or whatever version that's not broken?
they are working on it. The flash fails but it will boot an emergency disc. The CC team is resolving that right now and they are working on a usb stick bug in BM. Give them time please, they're just want a properly working flash and bm software out.
