O.K people, i cant get my firmware 19 disc to flash my CC1.1, it just keeps going to a Red screen.

Everything in the install looks good, so that aint the problem, plus on tapping reset 6 times i can disable the chip.

Is there a special way of booting this firmware?

Let me know how you guys flash your Crystal 1.1 in a V14 step by step.

    Thank everyone.

Ussually it's just, insert the firmware CD, power on the console, you're greeted by the Crystal Chip bootmanager menu and then select to flash the firmware, followed by installing bootmanager on the mem card.

Seems the burn quality of the firmware cd can cause issues, I had problems because of that myself (though no red screen), so might be worth burning another with a different media and/or burn speed.

If you can, try having a MC with BM installed on it inserted in the console when loading the firmware disc.

I had simular problems with a batch of cc1.1s I have. I thought I had the latest 1.9 firmware on my flash disks but I was wrong I had to download again from euasia reburn and flash worked. I swear when the 1.9 flash first came out and I downladed from euasia it did not work a few days later I downloaded again and it worked. I don't know if there was a error when they first cracked it and uploaded the file but like I said I downloaded again and all was good. If you were able to flash it and tried to test and you get RSOD you have wrong firmware. If you get Black screen when trying to flash wrong firmware.
