i have a v15 with cc 2.0 fw 29 and when i try to install apps off of my flashdrive bootmanager freezes at the screen where it is looking for devices. i have no problem using my flashdrive in ulaunchelf so i wanted to see if i could use the usb driver from that program in bm.

Yes, BM should work fine with the latest uLE driver. You only need to update the USBHDFSD.IRX, then you're flashdrive should be ok.

How exactly did you install it to the flash? I had the same problem and could solve it with the new USBHDFSD.IRX, maybe you should try the one from BM2.1.0. Don't know if it's any different, but it's worth a try.

what i did was replaced the USBHDFSD.IRX on the firmware cd, then i removed the usb driver by using remove devices, then i installed the usb driver from cd. i will try the driver from the new bootmanager since fw 31 does not work on my machine.

Removing and installing devices does not affect the IRX files. Those are only installed together with BM, so you didn't install a new driver, you only reinstalled the DEVINFO.PBT script. Install BM from the disc with the new driver and everything should be fine.
