BootManager Screenshot needed. –
I was wondering if anyone have the bootmanager screenshots. If you are asking yourself why so .. here it goes, maybe someone can help me out:
I bought a Slim PAL PSTwo with Crystal installed. The thing is that I took it with me to where I currently live, Japan. My TV supports only NTSC therefore when I boot the BootManager from the Memory Card I get only PAL signal. The Installer told me that I can change those settings at the Bootmanager but the thing is that I cant see a thing at the moment (except from fast scrolling picture of the BM).
If not screen shots, could somebody guide me what to change and where.
Though, remember I cant see properly as the screen is flickering all the time. So I would need instructions such as 4 downs, Click the X, 2 downs, Click the X, 2 Downs, Click the X, Left .. etc.
Thanks in adv.
Try reflashing the chip first. It may set the settings to there default state. Load disk push (X) wait 2 minuites. Leave memory card out. Once flashed boot firmware disk again insert memory card and format it then reinstall boot manager.
the thing is that when i boot with a Firmware Disk it loads it as PAL and the screen flickers so i cant really see anything as my TV supports only NTSC.
My PSTwo was bought in europe.
Ok, this is assuming you have Bootmanager v1.8 installed, but these steps should work with the lower versions.
Start up the PStwo and get to the main Bootmanager menu.
Next, press DOWN three (3) times, and press X.
Then, press X again to get to the Bootmanager Config.
Next, press X again and press right until it forces NTSC mode for Bootmanager.
Hope this helps you!

Reason: Forgot you wanted to switch to NTSC mode
Thanks mate! that did the trick!
and let me confirm that it works with 1.9 as well.
Huh? As far as I know the latest BM is 1.8 (it comes with 1.9 firmware)
