Boot Man failed on dffs?? Needs memory card now???
Ok, I installed this Crystal Chip for a guy a few months back and I had to find out about the hacked firmware and set it up and after all that it worked fine and I remember if there was no CD in the PS2 it would go to some menu (Boot manager??)
So now he said it messed up after copying memory cards or something and when I turned on the PS2 there was noting but a black screen. So then I tried the 6X reset and it worked again and booted an original disk. Then I restart and try a backup and get the good old RSOD. After that I powered off and inserted the hacked Bois CD v34 and I reflashed and tried to reinstall the Boot manager an I got this error message failed to create dffs
then I installed it on a memory card and this works but very slow to boot. It waits on a black screen for a good 20 seconds before the game pops up and I cant find any boot manager menus at all!!!??? Just the plain browser.
Where is this firmware manager I read about to format dffs????? Ugh, this bloody chip is a frickin nightmare!!! WTF!!!???
