BM problems using a HD
BM problems using a HD –
11-11-2006,11:25 AM
Hi
I am trying to get the HD working within the BM. For some reason each time i activated the HD in the comfiguration menu the BM hangs om me with the message Please wait....
I am using CC 1.2 and BM 2.0.6 (hacked) and the HD is a 80GB Seagate
The strange part is that the HD is working with HD-loader using a boot disk.
I would love to have it integrated into the BM instead of always have a disk in the drive.
Any good ideas out there.
Best regards
Peter

Hi,
Why don't you simply install hdloader on your MC ? You don't need to activate the HDD in BM for that. Or I didn't understand what you want to do...

Same problem exists for me, I still use the Official Sony HD although everytime I try to load it with BM it just hangs on me. So now I currrently use no HDD.
EDIT - Just installed HDL to my Memcard and now everything works fine.

The procedure depends on what you want yo do.
If you only want to access to your hard drive with HDL, simply install HDL on your Memory Card. You don't need to activate the HDD inside BootManager.
Now, if you want to use the HDD within BM (to install and run applications, but keep in mind that many applications simply don't launch from HDD), you first need to create a new partition named Crystal on it with uLE.
Then activate it from the configuration menu of BM. You have to know that the autolaunch doesn't work for now.

Yep, the Crystal partition is the key.
BTW, autostart HDD works fine for me.
