    Yup it's here. I havn't had alot of time in my busy schedule to really test everything. Think of this as an alpha just like the other release. Please post bug reports and I'll write up some pretty documentation for it later.

    I'm also looking for a permanent webspace for all my BM stuff. I want to be able to put up a website to host the mega packs and tutorials. If somebody has some space they can share with me please drop me a priv. msg!

    Here is the documentation that i promiesed. Colemps2 is removed for the time. The emu is not compatible with the new BM memory card directory for homebrew. Just run the makeit.bat; it will create the bin/cue for you to burn.

    Okay, so let me get this straight: This hacked version allows you to play backups because the version on the Crystal site does not? OR this hacked version allows you to use boot manager on non Crystal Chip PS2s?

    Sorry about the "n00b" question. I just got the boot manager disc off my installer and assumed it's the same software off the site. I'm confused why this is hacked.

    The firmware is hacked to load backups in this case, and give meaning to these features:

    * DVD+R Dual Layer (DVD9) support
    * DNAS protection bypass, play backup discs online

    This seems like a really good deal.
    But since I´m new to modchips I don´t quite follow how to upgrade.
    I unpacked it to a new folder and ran "makeit" which made 7 files totaling 53mb. Now do I simple make a new iso cd-r with these 7 files on it?

    I know this is kindergarden stuff for a lot of people but I just don´t want to screw anything up.
    Thanks a million for the pack and for any help.

    I'm really new to this too but it clearly explains what you have to do in the README file. Duh...

    Burn cc-upgrade.bin using your favorite bin/cue compatible burning software(CDRWIN, Alcohol, Fireburner,
    Burn-At-Once, etc).

    the makeit will create a big bin file. The cue file is a cd settings file. Use any of the programs that are in the readme to load the cue file and it will burn a cd of all the megapack fiels.

    Just a quick note, by just checking the appinfo.pbt files I found that there are newer versions of InfoNES and PS2MP3, v1b and 1.2b respectively.

    Ok, I am not new to the scene, but I am new to upgrading my CC firmware and installing BM. It seems like it should be pretty easy, though. Extract files. Run makeit. Burn cue. Did that. Put CD in PS2 and all I get is a black screen. Tried 3 times. All three times I get black screen. Backups haved worked fine since the CC was installed so I know the chip is working....but I can't seem to get the upgrade disk to boot up. Any suggestions? I am using Nero to burn the image on a Pioneer A03 (yeah, its old...but it still works).
