Hey all, I have BM 2.1.5 install on my MC, well I messed something up when I went to an option to automatically set settings from my tv resolution. Whenever the BM loads I just get a blank screen "signal out of range". I load my regular PS2 browser by hitting I think (down,x,x,x), and my tv recognizes it,so what I was planning on doing was deleting my BM thats saved on my memory card then just reflash. but it just says failed. So I was hoping that someone could give me the button step by step to reflash or remove the bm. or change the screen settings back to default.

-fixed- i reset by pressing reset button 3 times, reflashed.

The stupid $ony Browser can't delete the BM folder, because it contains subfolders and since you tried to delete BM, your current installation is most likely badly damaged. Put in your CC upgrade disc, start it in recovery mode (turn on PS2, then hit reset 3 times and the original boot screen should come up and load the upgrade disc) and install BM again. Previous installations will be deleted automatically. The upgrade disc should detect the correct video mode for your TV.

Thanks, thats what it did. And it worked. But I always seem to have a problem getting my disc to load, I ususally have to turn my PS2 on and off like 30 times before it reads. I use Memorex CD-R, and always burn an the lowest speeds. Any ideas?

Memorex is not the best media you can buy. I had a 50 cake Memorex DVD-R once. I tossed half of them to the bin (burning errors) and the other half gave me constant reading problems. I ended up burning all that stuff again on Verbatim DVD-R which solved those problems.
Get high quality media like Verbatim or Tayio Yuden and burn 4x - 8x. Slowest speed is not necessarily the best, depending on burner and media used. I always burn with 8x speed using Verbatim DVD-R and Nero or ImgBurn, which gives me the best results.
You can check the quality of your burns with Nero Drive Speed, or similar programms. Should give you a pretty good idea about why your discs don't work.
The PS2 can be pretty picky about discs depending on model and laser installed. My v12 is probably one of the worst, it burned two lasers already. Glad I got my HDCombo .
