Alternative point on v9 for CC 1.1

Im checking the install diagram for the v9 on Crystal chips website for the v1.1.
On the picture there is an "alternative" for soldering : (picture 1) one to point TO and (picture 2) another to point F G H I B HA.

My question is : if i solder to point TO... do i need to solder the other point ? is this really a great alternative ?. This is not really clear.

i think you must solder all points (except for F if you plan do not use RW)
