16mb max memorycard witout memorymanager?

I have a max action replay together with a memory card on 16mb.
And everytime i want to use the memorycard i have to install a memorymanager from the Action replay cd. Is there anyway to get the memorycard working without having to install the memorymanager every time??

a CC modded ps2 with BM can let you use the older mega memory cards without the disc.
