I have installed CC2.0 in my PS2(SPCH-39004, PAL, V7). I installed first time that chip. I turned on PS2 and i saw Crystal Chip screen, and after that I saw Boot Manager. I saw it first time, so I explored BM. I wanted install hacked firmware, so I burned it on CD, then I inserted it to PS2 drive. PS2 sterted read disc(it was noiser than normal). Then on screen icon of CD disc has been showed, and I select boot media and boot enchanced mode, then screen was black, and after moment I saw on my TV text VIDEO1(so as PS2 would be switched off, but it was on). I turned off PS2 and all time when I switch on console, i see black screen and when I insert disc I hear drive(it's read disc). When I press reset 4-times it is going to normal OSDSYS, but when I trying change time/date it automatically changes to previously value and FreeMCBoot from memory card doesn't work(only display start screen of it).
Maybe only need to erase EEPROM? What do you think?

PS. I'm from Poland and my english isn't perfect, and I sorry for mistakes.

EDIT I didn't see Crystal chip sub-forum, please moderators move my thread to CC sub-forum.

I have an older CC-Version, but I simply turn on the PS2 and then press 5-6 times the reset-button (press the reset at every "click") to disable the CC and then it starts the hacked OSD (4-times reset will not disable the CC and FMCB loops...)

If you map your FMCB-Autostart to an ELF instead of the hacked OSD(SYS), it should start it/work, even if the CC is enabled.
The CrystalChip only have some problems with FMCBs OSD.
Well,... Thatīs just about your CC-FMCB-OSD-Problem.

    About the other thing,...
I believe it is the CCs-Recoverymode (3-times reset) to blame for it.

Edit: Moved your thread to the CrystalChip-Subforum.

I read some about this problem(black screen with CC) on Crystal chip sub-forum, and I finded solution: insert CC install disc, then press 3-times reset and it will go to recovery mode and boot instalation. I did it and all works fine . And I don't have to launch hacked OSD.

    So your CCs flash self-deleded?!

You donīt "have to" launch the hacked OSD at all.
I only mentioned, why it "stalls"/loops on FMCB-Logo.

In most cases, simply starting the console with the Firmware CD inserted will auto launch the disc, but sometimes its necessary to press the reset button to goto recovery mode (3 times) or disable the chip (6 times), as either mode will still read/boot an Install CD for BM.
    PS2 Consoles:
    SCPH-30001 [V4] - unmodded (2)
    SCPH-30001-R [V5] DMS4 Pro SE
    SCPH-50001-N [V9] CC 2.0 SLE
    SCPH-79001 [V16] Silver - unmodded

Really? Wow. I must test it with the 6-times-reset.
