Should i get a DMS4 Pro or a DMS4 S.E Pro??

which one should i get? if it matters, i will send my PS2 to get it installed. i have a v12

they both do the same thing but i am sure in the not so distant future dms will drop support for the older of the 2 so i guess get the se .

Well if you want to use toxic os you should go for dms4 pro, because toxic os 0.4 is not out yet and toxic os 0.3 dose not support the S.E serie. And we have no news from team toxic of when toxic os 0.4 will be out...

The main reason causing overheating was the size of the actel chip dms team used in their dms4 pro chip. With the new special edition, the chips size has shrunk and not causing overheating anymore. So get a DMS4 Pro S.E.

Did someone in this tread speak about overheating?

DMS4 pro is a good chip if you install it properly, I don't have any overheating problem.

For the DMS4 Pro S.E :
What is the point of buying a product that has no software to support all the features of the chip?

Yeah but ToxicOS 0.4 might be just around the corner... he can also burn a CD with HDL and use it until 0.4 is released...

Well If Toxic OS 0.4 is out in the next couple of weeks OK, But i would be unhappy if they made me wait
6 month for the software, might as well buy a cheaper chip and boot HDL like you said. They said that ToxicOs 0.4 was gonna be out soon in october. I realy would like to believe that toxic OS 0.4 is just around the corner, but they broke there promisses, I have problem believing them now.

I didn't say that he should buy a cheaper chip... I said that he could use HDL in this DMS4 SE while waiting :P

And nobody from TeamToxic really said it would be out in october... people just "guessed" that...

Personally I think it's worth the wait, I love ToxicOS 0.3 and I would never trade my DMS4 for any other modchip in the market right now...

If he can't wait maybe he can still buy the regular DMS4 PRO...

I would not trade my DMS4 Pro for any other chip either. I think people should stick with the regular DMS4 Pro until proper software support comes out .
