Pre purchasing / installing questions for dms4 lite

So i'm going to try and mod a ps2... oh boy. I've done tons of xbox's before but this is new to me.

Is this a good chip for my first install? it seems like its the most common...

will this work to play backups of my games online?

will this work in a slim ps2? big ps2? if it doesnt in the slim, what one does?

how will the hard drive hook up to the ps2 once its modded?

does it come pre flashed, or do i need to get a flasher too? or do i flash it via cd/dvd later? any tutorials on this?

We're changing the bios of our ps2 when we put the chip in as we do with xbox's... right?

Where should i buy the chip from? Cheap and fast shipping of course

think you need to do some basic research, most of your questions are answered by simple searches that would take seconds.
im not going to answer your questions as you seem to need to do some research for yourself to find out things that you will need to know that you obviously dont know before you stuff something. it will be better for you to search yourself, you will learn more than anyone can tell you here.
