its the release thread that when there is a new uLaunchELF version or fixing some bugs found by you or any other members they share the info .
but if you have any question about uLaunchELF you will post or ask in uLaunchELF section .
but your problem is not uLaunchELF to run from HDD but any elfs due to your incorrect setup .
hope you understand that .

???? what?
My problem, and the one I try to describe here is that I install it in the HDD and it does not run. SMS runs from HDD, MYPS2 runs, even a SNES emu I tested runs. ONLY ULE does not run. Do you actually exclude the possibility that there is a bug that is triggered and it cannot run on my (or similar setups) ? This is not windows with a gazilion system configs, this is a PS2 with a chip that has 1 same software for all and one standard formatted HDD that works with it...
Anyhow if all this seem irrelevant, offtopic and crossposting, just delete the whole thread.
edit: hmm now that I see it better, I see how my sidenote can be taken the wrong way...
I am Greek , so some things "lost in translation" I guess...

If it's completely on topic with the main uLE thread, why do you go on about installing games?
that is the number one reason why I split these posts from the main thread. dlanor will be able to help you once he looks over these posts as he is one of the main coders in this project and he has a DMS4 mod chip. he is the only person that can test this 'bug' and fix it. just wait it out.

c'mon you are so strict!!! on the before page ppl where discussing the differences between usb1 and usb2 devices ... I just said it does not work on HD install, I posted the script I used to install it, I even posted some other software that works, someone gave me advice to install it to flash too!
If you only deleted my "sidenote" that is INDEED unescessary I would have accepted that and did not even discuss it. (Also note that it is not a question btw and it was not meant to be!) But judging all my posts before and after this only because of the "sidenote" ???
in the same context, the ppl that complain because analogue does not get initialized when ULE starts are off topic too, because on my setup it works fine...
edit: you have helped me in the past , I can only see this as a misunderstanding...

Me and dlanor both found that newer versions of uLE do not work from DMS4 when booted from the HDD, only an older version worked. I think i had 4.16 when i last messed with installing apps to my DMS4 Pro.
If you want to run ule from Dev2, i'd suggest using an older version. We think its something to do with the ToxicOS and not really a bug in uLE.
The DMS4 series chips were the last made and are considered old/obsolete by todays current PS2 apps and of course there are going to be some incompatibilities when mixing old and new.
ps: just to note, this is considered a DMS4 issue and should be in the Modchip section.....
I know it relates to uLE, but it is not an issue of ule itself having a problem of working, since it works fine from other locations for you. Its understandable how you could think to post it in the uLE forums. Not really a big deal, I can simply move it for you to the right forum.
PS2 Consoles:
SCPH-30001 [V4] - unmodded (2)
SCPH-30001-R [V5] DMS4 Pro SE
SCPH-50001-N [V9] CC 2.0 SLE
SCPH-79001 [V16] Silver - unmodded

OK, I have to ask this. Why in the hell are new users trying to tell me how to do my job here? This is happening more and more, and frankly, it's getting annoying.
edit: you have helped me in the past , I can only see this as a misunderstanding...
I'm so relieved that you can forgive me.
