Well, i've just given it a go with my other motherboard, the installation went ok i think.
When i turn it on, in about 1 second i get RSOD (Red screen of death), any ideas?

I went through checking all off the soldering points and ensuring that they are all in the correct place and i'm 95% sure that all the solders are correct. (there was one solder that was loose, so i put that right). So after checking them i started it and i just get a B(black)SOD, I can eject the tray, i've tried starting with and without the controller in, but still i get the BSOD.
I've also read that holding square when starting up will disable to the chip, i tried that but nothing happened.
Any ideas?
Check if you bridged any points
