i've modded my xbox a few years ago and i'm not sure how close the two consoles are to mod but i was looking for some help...ps2ownz.com has way to many rules i was hoping this would be a little better..but i'm still not sure what i am allowed to talk about on here so if some one could help me my AIM is EvanVanVan...i just have a v7/8 ps2..i just bought a DMS 4 E.Z.I. Pro the solderless one...there are just a few things i need to know...in the xbox scene there are "usual places" i just need help with taht stuff really..
if we're allowed to talk about some stuff here that is fine also

The xbox was SIMPLE AS PIE to solder a chip into. It was freaken like 3 wires to BIG points with HUGE spaces in between. The PS2 is far harder, way smaller points and ALOT more of them and it was way more unforgiving of error.
What do you need to know, I have the exact same chip in my PS2 and its the same model.

2005 was trying to help but you didnt give enough info on what you wanted to know, with a sarcastic attitude like that, the only help you will get is the help wozza gave you, SEARCH yourself

youll also learn more from my link because you will see people mistakes as well as successes and learn much more than just asking a question and getting an answer. someone new to something always needs to research a bit before doing anything.
