need help

I just modded my version7 ps2 with the Dms se pro modchip.
I purchased this modchip for the reason of playing my game backups,which get scracthed over time.
I have installed the Toxic Os .41 on the chip.

It seems that all the chip functions work correctly.
I can play my backup ps2 games off disc,as well as off the hard drive.
It shows the version,the chip, and the bios on the settings screen.

However, I have tried to play my ps1 backups with little success.
I have tried burning them slow,as well as with different burning software.
I have had one game load completely once, but since then i have had no luck getting any ps1 game
to boot past the ps logo screen.

Could this be in the installation of the (t wire) or the (x wire) on the chip?

For your PS1 backups what speed was your burn and what brand/type of CD? (same question for PS2 games)
As for your chip I dunno. But your PS1 disc isn't reading well I'd say. What I do as a rule for PS1 games is use Verbaitim. Never even a stutter on my modded PS1. We also never burn em fast as a general rule half of the disc's max is top speed you'd wanna go (I always use slowest speed) any faster and it stutters and DRE's.

I have tried using sony cd-rs.

And i have tried burning at 1 speed on cdclone.

I have a dms se pro mod in my version 7 ps2 and i am running toxicos .41.
The problem i am having is only with ps1 backups.
I have tried my ps2 backups off the hard drive as well as off the dvd backups and they work fine.

The problem i am having is my ps1 backups load to the ps logo and then stops.
It did load once however but since then it only makes it to the ps logo.


might you have any ideas?

There are two possible problems on this. And I'll only tell you what they are and solutions once you actually decide to take my advice and make proper paragraph and sentence structures. What you have looks like run on sentences, and a text wall.

In your opinion,what might the two problems be?
