was hoping a bigger ground wire might help, right now i think im using a 24 gauge wire,
what wire would you guys recommend?
i remeber looking at my friends professionally installed one, and he had a thick ass wire, but it was a single strand, not braided like most thicker gauge wires,
what wire should i use keeping in mind im prolly gonna look for it at radio crap
what chip are you using? 24 awg is good for the gnd wire. multicore is best.
yep, same issue, i just threw in 18 gauge for the ground, and same random BSOD
god damn this dms 4
i just bought an s.e to try and fix it,
I have done an incredibly clean intall, and istill get them, it doesnt matter how shitty or nice i do it
i placed in like this pic
and true my wires arent exactly as tight together, but there are no crosses, cept the like 2 necessary for O and P
god damn it, this is soooo frustrating
This is typical of the DMS chips. Especially the new DMS4 SE. BSOD issues are just something the DMS team cant seem to get around.
Yup, I went through a dozen or so of the DMS4se's and about half of them had random BSOD problems. Switched over to MI's now.
