Just installed DMS4 EZI lite...help!

I just installed my DMS4 EZI lite chip on my V7 PS2. It boots successfully, but I dont get any DMS4 disabled message when I hold square. I also cannot load the toxic BIOS. Any thoughts?

EDIT: After trying a few more times...i can't even boot. I get a green light on the reset button, but the eject button wont work...

Take the chip out, get your console working normally again, and solder the chip in or you will probably have to buy a new system. Solderless chips are no good for ps2.

Well, after taking the screws out of the bottom, i can boot, and load original ps2 games...but no "DMS4 Disabled" screen.

besides the other suggestion, what should i do?

Edit: or does anyone know how to solder in a DMS4 EZI ?
Edit2: looks like i shouldve read more in the forums before getting this...

i've had no problems with DSM4 EZI, the game i can't get to load (is SSX On Tour)

all clips chips are junk have seen way tomany dead boards from them..
