Do you just put the CD-R with ToxicOS in and it'll boot the OS up and ask to install it? Do I have to hold anything down as I start it up?

You need to install the bios first, then Toxic OS. If you insert the disk you can just follow the onscreen instructions.
Can I install Toxic OS without a HDD? Obviously not, right?
yes you can.
and you dont need to install the bios first.
Please remind that you need a DMS4 PRO mod for ToxicOS. The Lite version will NOT work.
ToxicOS is for DMS4 PRO
ToxicBios is for DMS4 Lite
If you have DMS4 Pro, burn toxicos on a cd and place it into your ps2, it'll boot automatically, then just follow on screen instructions.
If you have DMS4 Lite burn toxicbios on a cd and place it into your ps2, it'll boot automatically, then just follow on screen instructions.
No you dont need an HDD to load toxicos/toxicbios. The program is stored on a chip on the DMS4
