DMS4 Pro w/ Codebreaker 9.3 boot issues –
Anybody know if there's a trick to getting the 9.3 CB retail disc to work with a dms4 pro mod'd ps2? I've got the .41 ToxicOS installed and the .6 DMS4 BIOS flashed. I can run the disc just fine when disabling the chip.. but that kind of defeats the purpose. I've tried disabling the auto-eject in the codebreaker options menu, but contrary to what the readme said, that doesn't appear to have helped.. I'm rather stumped as to what else I can try.. I've read that the V9 discs can't be reliably made into backups due to the copy protections built in... any suggestions?
Theres a Mod-Chip friendly version of Codebreaker 9.3 floating out somewhere. Find it, Download it, and burn it on a CD-R to use it with your games.
Yeah, I checked Usenet (the Newsgroups) and there is not a 9.3 version floating out there...all I could find was the 9.2 version that Breath of Fire posted above.
Actually I disabled the Y-Pos fix in the ToxicOS settings, and the codebreaker works prefectly now.. I don't know if that's exactly what fixed it, but that's the only change I made so it would seem that's the case.
