I'm planning on buying a modchip for the PS2 soon, and I heard the DMS4 is a good chip. I want pro for the hard drive, but I thought I would ask for users opinions before I purchase. I'm new to the PS2 scene, already have an xbox modded, so i'm also looking for differences in getting everything set up. Any help/reviews on the chip and opinions are welcome.

    Thanks

    Derrick

Crystal or matrix are the easiest to install but the DMS pro is worth it though even though its a little harder

I got a DMS4 Pro SE, I regret it. I would have rather gotten a Matrix Infinity. The two are nearly identical and will get a good job done but the Matrix Infinity has a plus that the DMS doesn't have..it can play games from other regions online. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but it definitely comes in handy.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I have a friend that installs chips, so he is going to solder it for me. I ordered the DMS4 SE Pro yesterday, 1-4 days delivery from Consolesource.
