Damm.. here in my city we have only 1 dude that could install DMS3.. And he had to install 2 times to get mine working.... I wish installing a chip could be easy for noobs (and the price for installation+chip is an ABSURD! with that money I could by a new GBA-SP and some extras)

Sounds cool, but did PS1 stealth go away? I don't think a mod can achieve PS1 stealth without more contacts on the DVD/DSP. Prolly a feature not many use. Not a biggie. Looks like auto-boot is the next gen hotness.

DMS3.. DMS 3 V9..DMS3 Plus..now DMS4. The V9 I could understand, it was mandatory then..the Plus? Ok, all versions in 1, terrific. But this is getting ridiculous now. They cant do auto-detect media type for DMS3? BULLSHIT! I bought the DMS3 cause I thought I'd never need another modchip, now I know I have a shitty install done by a lame pothead (From that other site) on a chip that will be rendered obsolete soon. When friends of mine asked me in the past what mod to get put in I said DMS3...but I'm not sure I made the right recommendation now. DMS4Lite sounds pretty much like DMS3 just..no auto-detect media type for us using DMS3 now. Earlier beta firmware for DMS3 had this..so it IS possible on the current hardware but I guess its better for them to sell a new chip. Oh well, I dont even care about the auto-detection really but..****, come on. This chip was NOT cheap, I didn't buy it just to eventually replace it with a newer ****in revision because they saw the ability to make more money. I'm done supporting DMS team, Im done with their forums, **** 'em.

But DMS4 only have three new features: Autoboot, Devolution 2, and homebrew support. These features are pretty useful...

I'm not jealous, still happy with my decision. I don't do homebrew stuff, the Infinity has autoboot, and I'm not even sure what Devolution 2 is. The Infinity is more chip than I need as a matter of fact. I've been totally satisfied with my Magic 3, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it is a laser killer, so I wanted to upgrade.
