DMS 4 Lite on PS2 V5
I'm trying to install a DMS 4 Lite on my V5 PS2 but I can't making it work. I0ve redone the wiring four times and the best result that I've had is a try of my console to boot the Flash CD followed by a black screen.
I think it's a problem related with the A wire (the 3,3v) wich is too long but I've changed its position following a Matrix Infinity diagram found on Mod-chip.com.
This time the console didn't even boot up. Maybe I've made a bad solding?
I'm using like wires a EIDE connector that I've dismantled obtaining the wires for the solding. For the ground and the power I'm using thicker wires. The wires are not crossed more than once.
Do you have others advices? I've killed my beloved console?
you should be using kynar 30 awg wire. I would say you have bad solder connections. Are any wires pinched from the metal casing ?
I don't think the wires are pinched or shorted. By the way... A 3,3v site is the same for all the modchips? If I find a place that is easier to reach and to connect instead of using the one suggested in the diagrams (too far IMHO) is the same thing? I think it's the same but I want to be shure before blowing everything up
