Long story short, a game showed me a two player loading screen while online and it froze, now the PS2 won't boot up. It's just giving me a black screen which is what I used to get before, but by putting it into standby and resuming it was able to fix it, but now that's not working.
All of the lights and everything works, but it isn't loading ToxicOS which is my default boot method. None of the Dev modes are working either, which makes me guess that the firmware isn't working.
I've had the chip in my v7 for about 3 months and it worked fine, and getting the black screen and resetting it once, wasn't too much of a burden for me. Now it's not even working, and I was so proud of my DMS4 Pro.
I was basically wondering if anybody had this happen before, and what I might need to replace to get this console working again. I'm hoping that the motherboard isn't damaged, and if the chip is, then that's not too big of a deal since I can easily just swap the current one out with a new one.
I haven't opened up the PS2 yet to look at the install, but it was done by a professional modding service so I assume everything is fine and that something just happened with the electronics.
If I need to get a new DMS4 S.E. Pro I might get one here, as long as they are reliable. Has anybody used these guys?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.Code:http://www.mod-chip.com/index.php/ps2
