    Hi

    I have just installed the matrix chip on a v5 ps2, but i get alot of white noise.

    Can anyone help me?

    yea, compairs to a tv channel that doesnt come in. chhhhssss. Im not sure what to say maybe someone else knows.

    My tv and my audio cables worked before i installed the chip.
    There are no problems with the tv exept when i use the ps2.

    I dont know about the audio cables but it should be strange if the broke while they where lying on the tv stand.

    could be A/V cables or maybe there's interference from the modchip wiring. Try relocating the GND and +5 wires

    It could also be you have a solder ball stuck inbetween one of those thin IC pins that's causing this. Check the entire board for solder balls.
