What should I do? –
06-01-2006,07:44 AM
Let me start off saying that I am a moron. I did not do the full research on the modchips and too late realized that I bought and installed a Clone(modbo). I even ordered from Divineo which had the chip labeled (Original) making me think it was a not a clone. Its amazing that they sell the clone and the original chip on the same site.
Now I would rather support the people that made the chip but since I already have it installed, I would like to know if it?s worth getting the real deal. Other then being able to flash it with the real bios from Matrix, what other benefits would there be? Is it worth putting out $35 for the actual chip?
So far the Modbo has not given me any problems to speak of. I do find that it has trouble reading some copied games, not sure if that?s the chip or the laser fix it came with though. (Just received a Neo Fix replaces that fix).
If anyone can give me insight on what should be done, that would be great.

Buy a real matrix chip, deffinitly.
it supports future upgrades wich might be extremely cool!
and u will be left there with your clone
and the wires are already soldered on the board, so it would take about 15 minutes to replace
