On a Matrix Infinity Green dot. I am putting a new Green dot in my PS2 to replace the InfinitySE clone that I fried. I have a PAL v7 PS2 and on the Matrix diagram I have, G and H point on the chip aren't connected at all, and yet H point is connected (it is a second wire that goes around the back with I wire) on my clone (which someone else installed). Any ideas?

Also, does anyone know if I can just go ahead and de-solder all the points from my clone, and solder them accordingly to my new green dot?

    Your help is much appreciated.

the diagrams for the clones and the real matrix are the same so just desoldering the chip will work fine. as for the G' & H' those are not needed for a v7 pal ps2

I think the installer of the clone might have been going by the JAPAN-TAIWAN v7/v8 diagram here:

what is the function of G' & H' wires well I am guessing here but I think it has something to do with timing.
