What is in the DEV21 Software

Happy new year everyone! Mr. Newbie here:

I have only had my MAtrix Infinity for a little more than a month. I have not updated the FW to V 1.75 yet, and I also see there is a "software" package available on the Mtrix web site, V1.10.

My games are playing fine (I also use the HDD for games), should I update the FW, what is on the Software package, and does it make any difference what color dot I have, cuz I have no idea (I had a Matrix reseller do my install).

you can update the firmware on any original infinity.
if you have a clone then it will kill it
dev2 gives you the ability to launch an app from the hard drive at startup the same as dev 1 allows you to boot from memory card
firmware update not needed if everything is working fine, just leave it
