So from what I understand I'm having grounding issues with my ps2. It will power on and then shut off instantly. Does this have anything to do with the fact that I removed the metal tab on the outer shell right above where the ground for my Matrix chip is susposed to go? It wouldn't close so I snipped it off, was that a bad idea? If that is the root of my problems, how do I correct it? Thanks again.
